What To Expect
When we want to try something new, it can be comforting to have a sense of what it will look like. Here are some images to help you know what to expect when you book a session with me.
In Person
In-person sessions are offered in this beautiful period building managed by Eastbourne Professional Health Suites. There is a reception downstairs where you can let the staff know that you are there to see Veronika. They will invite you to take a seat in the waiting lounge and I will pick you up there. Together we will head into one of the available rooms, all of which are comfortable and private. The location is easily accessible by public transit or car (closest 2-hour parking at Darling Sq so you can finish your session calmly) and bikes can be locked right in front of the entrance.
Online
If you decide to do sessions online, you will get a link to my Zoom room. When you connect, you will enter a virtual waiting room, where you can set up your camera and microphone and get comfortable. We’ll begin right on time at the start of our scheduled appointment. You might notice that my background changes depending on which office I’m in that day, but I am typically located in one of the private rooms at Eastbourne Professional Health Suites (as shown in the photo above). I use headphones and no one else can hear you.

Which option to choose?
Let me know if you would like help figuring out which option (in-person or online) is best for you. Both can be equally effective. Each option has its own advantages but none of them are universal; what matters most is what works for you and your situation. Some people choose a combination of both, depending on their schedule and needs.
As for me, I used to think that working online wasn’t really possible. Then the pandemic hit, and I had to learn to navigate hundreds of hours in virtual and hybrid settings. To my surprise, I came to realize that online spaces, while different from in-person connection, are spaces where we can meet in ways that are just as real.
